Question of the week: Do you post your book reviews as soon as you have completed the book or do you wait a few days?
I try to write the review as soon after finishing the book as I can. Otherwise I tend to forget details as I go on to the next book. Since I read a lot of tour books and ARCs I don't always publish the reviews as soon as I write them. As of the time I'm writing this, I have seventeen book reviews I've written by have not published. That is on the high side since many of them are Christmas romances, short quick reads.

I write my reviews in e-mails to myself as I go along.

New Bloglovin Follower. Oh wow 17 reviews!! Well I guess now is the perfect time to post them! http://www.thefictionfairy.com
ReplyDeleteThey have been coming up over the last few weeks; I drafted this response quite some time ago. Right now I only have seven reviews waiting to be published.
DeleteWow!! 17!!! I've only got one or two down at the moment and still have a load of books to get through. But yes, I don't publish my reviews as quick too if I were in a tour or have a ARC.
ReplyDeleteI wrote that several weeks ago; right now I only have seven waiting to be published; so it varies.
DeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteNew follower on Bloglovin.
Unlike you, I like to take a few days to think about the book before I start writing a review. You can read my answer here: http://bookishfindings.blogspot.com/.
