I speak as a non-religious Jew who was molested by my brother for several years. I've been in many support groups for survivors of sex abuse, and in all, I've only met 2 people who were molested by priests, and one of them was an Episcopal woman priest. You'd be shocked at how many people(especially little girls) who are molested by their doctors. But I guess that's most likely due to the medical community imposing rote memorization...??? Perhaps my brother couldn't resist hurting me. After all he was forced(through rote) to learn Hebrew...

Sex abuse reality is that everyone - (((EVERYONE))) - can be a molester! But people like you don't care about the majority of us victims of abuse, you're too busy trying to derive reasons(justify) for your schismatic beliefs on other issues. If you don't like your religion, just leave it! Don't blame a specific religion for sex abuse! That's basically all I'm trying to say. Go to any major American city and request the sex offenders list. You'll soon notice that there aren't many Rabbi's, Priest's, nor Minister's amongst them. Now ask yourself the question, "Why don't I blame the people of the United States of America for electing people who created laws that released these people back into our society?" Maybe it's the water?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13263155.post-1136224656969602232006-01-02T11:57:00.000-06:002006-01-02T11:57:00.000-06:00It is NOT Vatican II it is the entire change of so...It is NOT Vatican II it is the entire change of society. The jeannie is out of the bottle and there is no going back. The common use of drugs, the need for more and more money, the lust for power. It is all what it is- and the Church cannot hold it back- even by going backwards.
Personally, I find the oneness with God much more exciting than the "scaredness" that I felt as a child.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
