What I wou...I agree with everything you said here. What I would add is that if the government wants people to be healthy, and it wants to give an incentive to do so, why not give tax breaks for wellness care so people can avoid heart disease, diabetes, and other systemic ills. While they're at it, disband the FDA which approves drugs with deadly side affects before sufficient research is done. Case in point, Merck's guardisil. What a scam! I'd like to see a law that says drug companies cannot advertise to the general public since we can't write our own prescriptions anyway. Then they can lower drug costs, which is a much greater cost to the average person than doctor visits. Unless I'm forced to as with my two hip surgeries, I plan to stay out of the medical system and make use of Naturopathic doctors. Maybe God will be good and let me drop in my tracks some day.Barb Schoenebergerhttp://www.sufferingwithjoy.com/blog/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13263155.post-85887419774716346732010-03-06T05:21:13.499-06:002010-03-06T05:21:13.499-06:00Look at the mess the government has made of everyt...Look at the mess the government has made of everything they have ever run...Medicare and Medicaid being perfect examples. Waste beyond believe, costs growing and out of control...

So the answer to the problems, legitimate problem, surrounding health care costs is to give the government MORE control and power over our lives? I think not!caitehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05824538078958999767noreply@blogger.com
