It is an interesting way to blog and review simultaneously. Maybe if I was more of a natural writer, this wouldn't sound so hard to me, but I love what you did. My reviews have changed in that they are less structured. I used to feel I had to adhere to a certain format, and now, I just let it all pour out. It's been very freeing for me, and I find my reviews are written a lot quicker too. When I first started my blog--especially if it was a long book or one I felt needed a deeper dive--I would discuss it, sometimes in multiple posts. I don't have as much blogging time these days, so I don't always do that. I offer a First Chapter Review at my blog where I read the first chapter and provide my thoughts on the cover art, the first chapter, and state whether or not I will continue. That frees me up to DNF a book if I want.

Definitely love to see vlogging and reviews on other social media platforms to get quick tidbits.

Hope you have a great blogging and reading week.

https://thebookconnectionccm.blogspot.com/2022/09/its-monday-what-are-you-reading-and_0834401775.htmlCherylhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03470069911115912344noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13263155.post-68821570327255824452022-09-26T11:14:42.141-05:002022-09-26T11:14:42.141-05:00Interesting new style for reviewing. I am reading a book right now set in Seattle area, where I live. The author referred to the ocean (Pacific) but the body of water off of Seattle is the Puget Sound, specifically Elliott Bay. The Pacific Ocean is miles away, across the Olympic Mountain range. Later the author did mention the Puget Sound, so she got it eventually but hadn't gone back and corrected her first comment. Sigh.

Audiobook mispronunciation is another thing I notice. Place names are often pronounced a particular way in the area and the narrator and the publisher of the audiobook should do their homework to find out how to pronounce place names. An example that seems to come up here in the PacNW is mispronouncing Spokane as Spoke-cane instead of correctly Spoke-can.

Good topic.

I'm looking for an opportunity to discuss our random thoughts: Random Thoughts #1Anne@HeadFullofBookshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01069558006454986084noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13263155.post-87144513917864053332022-03-16T11:23:18.241-05:002022-03-16T11:23:18.241-05:00I found out about this author when I went to work ...I found out about this author when I went to work at the W almost 2 years ago and was looking at the W website on notable graduates.
