Tresspassers Will Be Baptized: My Review
I found this to be an amusing memoir but one that showed that the Catholic church isn't all dumb in asking its clergy to be celibate. I'd really like to know about the faith walk of this family after the time period in the book.
I haven't had time to read this one yet, but looks like a good one. I love hearing the Catholic viewpoint of a Baptist novel. Really cool.
I was raised Catholic and am now Non-Denominational. It really helped me when I worked at Boystown...we had both Catholic and Protestant boys in our home, and we would alternate with another home about taking them to their designated churches each week. I enjoyed both, but I think the Catholic mass at Boystown had a much better priest/pastor.
I'm rambling...anyway, just wanted you to know that I appreciate your viewpoint in Wild Card!
