This week I wrote about the Liturgy of the Hours and then reviewed Magnificat, a monthly publication that includes prayers from the Liturgy of the Hours as well as the mass readings. Free sample copies are available. I gave qualified approval to a children's Bible story book. If you are looking for a light read with a strong pro-life message, check out my review of Deborah Bedford's If I Had You.

  2. RAnn,
Thanks for hosting. I enjoyed your post on the Liturgy of the Hours. I already subscribe to Magnificat and get much from their abbreviated version of this great prayer of the Church. Perhaps I will make the leap and invest in a set of the actual Liturgy of the Hours.
    Thanks again and God Bless!

  3. Thanks RAnn, I enjoy saying the Divine Office as part of the Liturgy of the Hours.

This week on Sunday Snippets WBN presents: Things At Church.

  4. Hi RAnn, thanks again. Though I plan to move on from Intelligent Design Theory in future entries, I finish with a paper describing a major development in science from the study of genetic material. It has been underplayed by scientists and the media. It strikes a major blow against Darwinian evolution and his idea that all species came from one original organism.
