Sunday Snippets--A Catholic Carnival

I'd like to welcome everyone to Sunday Snippets--A Catholic Carnival.  We are a group of Catholic bloggers who gather weekly to share our best posts with each other.  To particpate, go to your blog and create an entry titled Sunday Snippets--A Catholic Carnival.  In it, highlight one or more of your posts from the past week that you believe would be of interest to Catholic bloggers---whether they are posts reflecting on spiritual matters or posts about antics of Catholic kids, or anything in between.  Come back here and enter the URL of that post below.  Finally, go visit other participants, and leave comments!  If you want a weekly reminder to post, join our yahoogroup.

I'm glad to have everyone here, and just want to remind you that posts linked below should contain a link back here.

One link I want to give you is to an old post, but one I updated this year--my Lenten Activities for Kids post.

I had a busy reading and posting week--and two of the books I reviewed were written by Sunday Snippets regulars.  Ellen Gable Hrkach wrote Come My Beloved which I reviewed here.  Kathleen Basi wrote Bring Lent to Life which I reviewed here.  Another Catholic book I reviewed was Sinner.  I reviewed Far From Here, about a young widow and Last Chance Beauty Queen, a general market romance.

Thanks for hosting, RAnn, and thanks again for the review of Come My Beloved. I look forward to reading Kathleen Basi's book.

  2. I look forward to reading your reviews, RAnn.

This week I posted about my weekly goals, St. Valentine, a "Guard Your Mouth" craft and What makes a good marriage. And for anyone following along with the St. Joseph's 7 Sundays devotion, tomorrow is week three.

  4. Thanks so much for hosting, RAnn.
This week, I have a post with a link to a great post
by Barb, several posts about my collections, a post about a kids' comics blog I discovered the other day, a post about two characters with the same name, and, of course, my weekly book list.
Next week, before Wednesday, I will blog about my
    plans for Lent.

  5. Posts this week were about Star Wars, authority, language, pornography, teachers, students, Caesar, leisure, Bonhoeffer, and a whole lot more. If you read nothing else, please read the one title "Children In the Pits of Hell." I am still reeling from the events that prompted this post. Thanks!

  6. Thanks again for hosting, RAnn!

Very few posts this week, as I just started a new job. So there's one post directly about the HHS mandate, one about excommunicating CINO politicians and a reflection on the commercialization of Valentine's Day.
