Sunday Snippets--A Catholic Carnival

Hello, and welcome to Sunday Snippets--A Catholic Carnival. We are a group of Catholic bloggers who gather weekly to share our best posts with each other. To participate, go to your blog and create a post titled Sunday Snippets--A Catholic Carnival. In it, discuss and link to your posts for the week--whether they deal with theology, Catholic living or cute Catholic kids. I'm mostly a book blogger so my posts are generally book reviews, some Catholic, some not. Make sure that post links back here. Once you publish it, come back here and leave a link below.

I'm glad you are here and if you'd like a weekly reminder to post, join our yahoogroup.

I have two posts that may be of interest to most of you all.  I reviewed a Christian book called The Guest Book.  My Top Ten Tuesday post was about old posts from this blog.  Catholic-type posts that made that list were "Why I Read", "My Review of God's Prayer Book", "Our Lady of the Lost and Found", "The Silence We Keep".

Hope everyone has a great Fourth of July this week.

  2. Thank you so much for hosting, RAnn! Have a happy 4th. God bless America!
This week's posts include a homily from Fr. Joseph,
a horrific news article about a woman who was forced to have an abortion, some GOOD news about
Fulton J. Sheen, a book review, a post shared from the NunEssential blog, a post about my decorative magnet collection, and, of course, my weekly book list.

  6. Posts this week talked about Christian education, Christian unity, and more. A big thanks to RAnn for hosting Sunday Snippets. Without this forum, Evan of Evan's Cove and I would not have started an important conversation about Christian education that has included posts on both our blogs. Do check them out and join the conversation.
