Sunday Snippets--A Catholic Carnival

Hello, and welcome to Sunday Snippets--A Catholic Carnival. We are a group of Catholic bloggers who gather weekly to share our best posts with each other. To participate, go to your blog and create a post titled Sunday Snippets--A Catholic Carnival. In it, discuss and link to your posts for the week--whether they deal with theology, Catholic living or cute Catholic kids. I'm mostly a book blogger so my posts are generally book reviews, some Catholic, some not. Make sure that post links back here. Once you publish it, come back here and leave a link below.

Not many post this week for me.  I reviewed The Stars Shine Bright, which follows an FBI case agent as she tries to discover why racehorses are dying.  Nightingale Way is a romance.

  1. Hi RAnn,
I did get some writing posted this week, but it really been mostly fun with my daughter and her husband.

Today, at Denver's Independence Institute's Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms party, we celebrated 10 years of having fun and annoying nannyists for the sake of our country's independence.

Colleen, I've been keeping you and your husband and family in my prayers.
My posts this week include great news about Fr.Frank Pavone, a homily from EWTN, a post about Catholics who do not believe, yet are pleasing to God, and, of course, my week book list.

  5. Can't believe it's Sunday Snippets time all ready!

This week I've shared my weekly goals, a novena in preparation for the feast of the Assumption, a post on teaching kids to handle money and a call-out (a plea really) for guest bloggers!

  7. I had two one word-entitled posts this week: "Smile" and "Kind." Thank you so much for inviting me here, RAnn. May Almighty God richly bless you and your loved ones.

  8. Only two posts this week since the school year started at last Monday for my students. Topics include things I don't understand like data-obsessed education, the burdens we place on students, and beach volleball "uniforms," and a look at why homosexuality and prostitution are not simply lifestyle choices.

    Thanks for hosting, RAnn!
