Sunday Snippets--A Catholic Carnival

Hello, and welcome to Sunday Snippets--A Catholic Carnival. We are a group of Catholic bloggers who gather weekly to share our best posts with each other. To participate, go to your blog and create a post titled Sunday Snippets--A Catholic Carnival. In it, discuss and link to your posts for the week--whether they deal with theology, Catholic living or cute Catholic kids. I'm mostly a book blogger so my posts are generally book reviews, some Catholic, some not. Make sure that post links back here. Once you publish it, come back here and leave a link below.

We also have a yahoogroup; signing up for it will get you one weekly reminder to post.  Click here to sign up.

I reviewed two Christmas romances: Merry Ex-Mas and A Cowboy for  Christmas.  I also reviewed a Christmas cookbook.  The best book I reviewed this week was about a woman who returned from a trip to Africa after being declared legally dead and how she got her life back.  I definitely recommend Forgotten.

  2. My posts this week have been about faith, wrestling with God and Jacob wrestling with the angel in art and music.

  3. Thanks yet again RAnn for hosting.

Between politics and poetry, my poor head is swimming but still above water. Just posted the poems and such here.

    Hope everyone is well.

  4. Thanks for hosting, RAnn. I have a video, an introduction to a new Benedictine web site, and a few Sabbath Moments for reflection.

  5. Thanks for hosting, RAnn.
I'll start with what I did NOT blog about. I didn't blog about that wonderful cold and sore throat I've been enjoying all week. (Think antonyms!)
Having a cold is nothing to sneeze at. Then again...
    What DID I blog about?
I have, among other things, several homilies from EWTN, some family history (from both sides!), new items in two of my online collections, and, of course, my weekly book list.

Thanks for inviting me! This was my first time sharing and I have a funny x next to my link. I hope I did it right!
I shared about charity and it's impact on our lives, my motto for the spiritual life, and a favorite Christian musician.

  7. Posts this week talk about new research showing the decline percentage of Christians in our country, what we can do about, and a compelling vision for family life in a classic '80s sitcom.

Thanks to all the readers out there!

  8. TV for Catholics has reviews up of "Nashville" and "Last Resort." I also wrote a little one-up on "The Walking Dead" season premiere.

    Thanks for reading!
