Sunday Snippets--A Catholic Carnival

Hello, and welcome to Sunday Snippets--A Catholic Carnival. We are a group of Catholic bloggers who gather weekly to share our best posts with each other. To participate, go to your blog and create a post titled Sunday Snippets--A Catholic Carnival. In it, discuss and link to your posts for the week--whether they deal with theology, Catholic living or cute Catholic kids. I'm mostly a book blogger so my posts are generally book reviews, some Catholic, some not. Make sure that post links back here. Once you publish it, come back here and leave a link below.

We also have a yahoogroup; signing up for it will get you one weekly reminder to post.  Click here to sign up.

My only review this week is of Learning to Lean, a book of reflections by Rich Maffeo, who sometimes joins us for Sunday Snippets.

This week I shared some thoughts about my experience of getting back into writing, a book review of an Amish novel and 7 Quick Takes.

This week I have a great homily from Fr. Anthony, an appeal from our Bishops as the anniversary of Roe V. Wade approaches, an article on why we should not drink Pepsi, the latest addition to my Rosary Art Collection, and, of course, my weekly book list.

Greetings on a snowy Sunday! I've written about choosing a "word" for 2013 and some thoughts about the snow. Blessings to you all and thanks RAnn!

  8. Thanks again, RAnn! I've written about the sacramentality of oaths, as a reflection on Pres. Obama's upcoming second inaugural, and on the loyalty we owe to objective truth as a function of our witness. I promise I'll be posting more here in the upcoming weeks!
