Sunday Snippets--A Catholic Carnival

Hello, and welcome to Sunday Snippets--A Catholic Carnival. We are a group of Catholic bloggers who gather weekly to share our best posts with each other. To participate, go to your blog and create a post titled Sunday Snippets--A Catholic Carnival. In it, discuss and   link to your posts for the week--whether they deal with theology, Catholic living or cute Catholic kids. I'm mostly a book blogger so my posts are generally book reviews, some Catholic, some not. Make sure that post links back here; some folks are forgetting that! Once you publish it, come back here and leave a link below.

As noted in this week's email, starting next week (so everyone has time to prepare) I'm adding a new feature to Sunday Snippets--A Catholic Carnival.  Along with linking us to whatever you've written about during the week, Sunday Snippets will now include a question of the week.  It will be listed in the email and on the host post.  However, since I know a lot of you like to pre-write your posts, the email will include next week's question and if you look up at the page listing under the header picture on my blog, you'll see a link for the page with Sunday Snippets Questions of the Week.  I have questions there to last the rest of the year, along with a link to a Google Form where you can submit questions for the future.  I'm not going to require you to answer the question in order to participate but I thought it would be fun to get everyone's take on the same subject during the same week.  I tried to keep the questions easy but somewhat related to faith.  You can click here to submit a question.

So, on to my Sunday Snippets.  I don't have any Catholic posts per se this week, but here is what I did write about:

• Rose Harbor in Bloom is the next installment in Debbie Macomber's new series.
• The Outer Edge of Heaven is Mormon fiction, which was sort of interesting.
• I participated in the Book Blogger Hop which discussed negative reviews.
• In Seven Quick Takes I talked about the end of summer.
• I shared Tyndale's reward program--if you want free stuff, please click on the link and join; it helps both of us.
