It's Monday. What Are You Reading

badge

Merry Christmas to all my book blogging buddies. I've had extra time off and have put it to good use.   I subscribed to Kindle Unlimited but cancelled before I had to start paying; I just found that most of the available books were self-published romances and I didn't think it was worth $11/month for unlimited access to them.  Have you tried it?  What do you think?

I have published a few reviews lately.

Books I read and for which reviews are scheduled:

Your Heart's Desire

New from NetGalley

I don't think Kindle Unlimited is for me, I think it would be fun then get repetitive.
    Enjoy the holiday season!

  2. The same reasons have kept me from subscribing to KU. I hope you enjoy the netgalley books. I've got my list from there down to one book which will be my first book of 2016. When I finish it I'll go back and find some more :)

  4. I haven't tried Kindle Unlimited either. I don't need more books to read with almost 2000 already on my stack. It looks like you read a nice assortment of books this week which all happen to be new to me. Here is what I read last week. Happy reading!

  5. No as well to KU. Good to hear what someone thinks of it. I want to try a Susan Meissner and a Linda Goodnight book, both authors only recently have come into my awareness!

  8. I haven't tried Kindle Unlimited, but certainly wouldn't pay for romance novels. :)

Going to take a look at your review of Stars Over Sunset Boulevard.

ENJOY the rest of your 2015 reading week, and Happy 2016!!

  11. With all the books I have here, Kindle Unlimited seems like a waste of money.

Great reviews. Too bad Innocence Lost didn't live up to expectations. It sounds like a fascinating story.

Hendey's books look so cute. Hope you enjoy them.

Thanks for visiting The Busy Mom's Daily.

  12. I don't use Unlimited as it never seemed worth it to me. I'd rather use the money for my audible subscription instead. Love Lucas looks cute, going to check it out.
