Mailbox Monday

Well, my mailbox was extra full this week, because, due to vacation, last week's mail showed up this week. I've reviewed several of the books, and if they are reviewed, the titles are clickable links.

Children's titles in my mailbox this week were Davey Bighead, Turkey's Treat, and Cookie. Bookmooch brought me Debbie Macomber's Mrs. Miracle and Cindy Woodsmall's When the Heart Cries, which is an Amish novel. I won Sacred Hearts via Mailbox Monday. Marcia, the hostess, gives her books away to Mailbox Monday participants, so mention it to her in a comment if you'd like one of her books; you may get lucky. Thanks Marcia!

For a Pump up Your Book Promotion tour, I got Indigo Awakening, the memoir of a doctor.

The folks at Hatchette were good to me this week. I got James Brown's Role of a Lifetime in which this sports commentator tells the story of his spiritual journey. I have a giveaway and my husband will read it and help me write a review. I also got The Blue Star, a story of young love, set just before and into WWII. You can enter my giveaway for it too.

For a Waterbrook tour September 7-11, I got Stray Affections, about a daycare provider and mother of four who gets a second chance (at love??). For a First Wildcard tour I got Never the Bride.

While you are poking around my blog, I also have another Hatchette giveaway, The Moon Looked Down.

I even bought one book, The Passion of Mary Margaret, which I really enjoyed.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a great week, and don't forget to stop by Marica's blog, The Printed Page, to see what others got this week. Happy reading!
