Welcome, and I hope everyone had a great week. My parish had 24 hour Adoration in honor of the Sacred Heart this weekend. Since June is the month of the Sacred Heart, last week I asked everyone to post something Sacred Heart related to make part of this week's Sunday Snippets. My contribution is a book list. I haven't read any of them, but they are now on my TBR list. Of course you are free to call our attention to any of your other posts this week. I wrote a guest post on NFP for MamaBzz, which is a mommy/review blog. It has been a very good reading week with two "A" books: Life in Defiance and The Six-Liter Club.
If you are new to Sunday Snippets--A Catholic Carnival, welcome. To participate, go to your blog and create a post titled "Sunday Snippets--A Catholic Carnival". In it highlight and link to your best posts this week. Also link to this post. Then come back here and sign Mr. Linky leaving a link to your post. Finally, read eveyone else's posts. It is a great way to learn about other Catholic bloggers. If you'd like a reminder to post, subscribe to our Yahoogroup.
Ditto Colleen's words of appreciation. I added links to my posts from last week.

Thanks for hosting this every Sunday, RAnn! This is just my 3rd time to join, but I look forward to sharing and reading these "snippets" every week. Hi, Colleen! =)
ReplyDeleteIts my first time. Thanks for doing this.
ReplyDeleteThis week's post is about the illogical foundation for an argument by well-known philosopher Peter Singer exploring whether life is worth for us to continue having children.
ReplyDeleteMy post wonders why the Risen Jesus' wounds remained unhealed.
ReplyDeleteThanks for still doing this RAnn. I really appreciate it and truly enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteVBS prep took over my life this past week so i never did write about the SAcred Heart.... but I did graduate 8th grade from Sacred Heart School.
ReplyDeleteI have linked to a posting of cute things my 10 yo son said one day
I also didn't get to the Sacred Heart explicitly, but I will try for this coming week. I did post a rant about what it means to be cheap! And another post was all about the yearly piano tuning.
ReplyDeleteBlessings and thanks for hosting.
Sorry couldn't quite manage the Sacred Heart this week, but some other good stuff here.
