Sunday Snippets--A Catholic Carnival

I'd like to welcome everyone to Sunday Snippets--A Catholic Carnival.  We are a group of Catholic bloggers who gather weekly to share our best posts with each other.  To particpate, go to your blog and create an entry titled Sunday Snippets--A Catholic Carnival.  In it, highlight one or more of your posts from the past week that you believe would be of interest to Catholic bloggers---whether they are posts reflecting on spiritual matters or posts about antics of Catholic kids, or anything in between.  Come back here and enter the URL of that post below.  Finally, go visit other participants, and leave comments!  If you want a weekly reminder to post, join our yahoogroup.
Thanks for joining us.  I know, I'm late.  I forget to pre-write and schedule this post and I took my Girl Scouts camping this weekend. We had a great time, but I'm beat!

Last week I reviewed a children's book about Noah's Ark, which comes with wall clings.  My Top Ten Tuesday post mentions some Catholic bloggers.  Finally, I reviewed Stealing Jenny, a Catholic thriller written by Sunday Snippets participant Ellen Gable.

How about you?

  3. I've got 2 weeks worth of snippets: art, music and poetry about rain, soup and the sea, a post about the new Martin Sheen movie, The Way and one about Voting, Government and the Catholic Church.

  4. I'm glad you're okay.
This week, I have just a few items:
    An announcement about my blog,
Some verses based on the 23rd Psalm,
and, of course, my weekly book list.

  5. I was wondering if something had happened! So glad it was a *good* reason and not a bad one. :) I think you had a lot of people checking in regularly. LOL

  6. Homer, the need for translation, freedom of religion in the Iliad, the attack on Coptic Christians, why young people leave the Church, and what the Incarnation has to say about the Eucharist, the teaching authority of the Church, and whether or not our physical bodies are important to who we are...all that and more in last week's posts.

    Thanks for hosting, RAnn!

  8. So glad you're OK. I was worried. I bet you really are tired! But I'm sure it's a good kind of tired.
