I'd like to welcome everyone to Sunday Snippets--A Catholic Carnival. We are a group of Catholic bloggers who gather weekly to share our best posts with each other. To particpate, go to your blog and create an entry titled Sunday Snippets--A Catholic Carnival. In it, highlight one or more of your posts from the past week that you believe would be of interest to Catholic bloggers---whether they are posts reflecting on spiritual matters or posts about antics of Catholic kids, or anything in between. Come back here and enter the URL of that post below. Finally, go visit other participants, and leave comments! If you want a weekly reminder to post, join our yahoogroup.
I'm glad to have everyone here, and just want to remind you that posts linked below should contain a link back here.
How about you?
Thanks for hosting, RAnn!
ReplyDeleteThis week, I share a homily from Fr. Joseph Mary,
two posts from Patrick Madrid, some new additions to my collections, a post about a newly-discovered
book by Madeleine L'Engle, and, of course, my weekly book list.
Thanks for hosting! I always enjoy joining in.
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite parts of Sunday (or Saturday evenings) is getting to read all the Sunday Snippet entries; so thanks for hosting so faithfully RAnn!
ReplyDeleteThis week I talked a little bit about the March for Life and The Conversion of Saint Paul. I also shared some pictures from our first snow fall and some cool ideas I got on Pinterest. :)
Thanks again for hosting!
ReplyDeleteThis week's readings were a comfort as I dealt with a sticky situation with my daughter's classmates. I acted like a 'mama monkey' but learned from King David how to rejoice in all situations. David also taught me of God's infinite mercy for his gnarled and tangled family tree and I'm learning to apply that same mercy to my own family. Lastly, I tried something new this week with a weekend reflection. Stop by for a visit at www.momsdevotional.blogspot.com.
Thanks for hosting, RAnn.
ReplyDeleteDogs are just part of the family. Or not.
ReplyDeleteRAnn, I ask your readers to pray for Phyllis, the mother of a friend of mine, who passed into Eternity recently; there is a tribute to her at "A Trail of Flowers" this week. Thank you very much, and may Almighty God bless you all.
ReplyDeleteAfter a couple of week's of light posting, I have lots of posts from the previous week. Check out posts on Latin, respect for the dead, slutty collegiate cheerleaders, the Holy Spirit and the Eucharist, the toll of teaching in public ed, and the latest state to promote homosexual sin with a license plate. All that and more! Thanks to all the readers out there!
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting, RAnn! The Girls Uncovered Book looks interesting. I posted a review, the lyrics of a pro-life song, an NFP cartoon and in my 7 Quick Takes, I shared my experience of appearing by Skype to members of a Catholic book club in Missouri.
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting, RAnn. It's a great thing.
