Sunday Snippets--A Catholic Carnival

Hello, and welcome to Sunday Snippets--A Catholic Carnival. We are a group of Catholic bloggers who gather weekly to share our best posts with each other. To participate, go to your blog and create a post titled Sunday Snippets--A Catholic Carnival. In it, discuss and link to your posts for the week--whether they deal with theology, Catholic living or cute Catholic kids. I'm mostly a book blogger so my posts are generally book reviews, some Catholic, some not. Make sure that post links back here. Once you publish it, come back here and leave a link below.

We also have a yahoogroup; signing up for it will get you one weekly reminder to post.  Click here to sign up.

Lots of book reviews for me this week:
General Market Romances:  Dream Lake, Rainshadow Road,  Sweet Laurel Falls (clean), A Place Called Home

Exam Schools:  A book about public high schools the students have to test into

With Every Letter:  A Christian romance set during WWII

Candy Canes in Bethlehem:  Catholic children's Christmas story.

  1. Hi RAnn, thanks for hosting. I'm looking forward to reading everybody else's posts. Looks like you've been really busy this week.

  2. I posted about our adventures in surgery and our rights as parents being taken away

  3. RAnnm thanks for hosting! I posted - Music and Books, You are the Christ, and Finding the Silver Lining! God bless!

  4. Thank you RAnn for hosting. Time to settle in and enjoy dropping in on friends again.

  5. Thanks for hosting, RAnn!
This week, I've shared Fr. Anthony's homily on the Sacred Stigmata of St. Francis, a post from Cardinal Timothy Dolan's blog, the latest episode of Threshold of Hope [great opening remarks from Fr. Mitch!], and an article telling why we should NOT fly on United Airlines.
I've also written about why this past Sunday was especially good, why a certain item is NOT going into my Break-Off Collection, and headaches.
And, of course, I've posted my weekly book list!

  6. As always, thanks for hosting RAnn.

Classes has been crazy busy, so I only have two guest posts to share from the last two weeks, one on self-image and one on God the Father.

  7. Thanks again, RAnn!!

  8. TV for Catholics has reviews of "Revolution," "Go On" and "Guys with Kids."

    Thanks for reading!
