Sunday Snippets--A Catholic Carnival

Hello, and welcome to Sunday Snippets--A Catholic Carnival. We are a group of Catholic bloggers who gather weekly to share our best posts with each other. To participate, go to your blog and create a post titled Sunday Snippets--A Catholic Carnival. In it, discuss and link to your posts for the week--whether they deal with theology, Catholic living or cute Catholic kids. I'm mostly a book blogger so my posts are generally book reviews, some Catholic, some not. Make sure that post links back here. Once you publish it, come back here and leave a link below.

We also have a yahoogroup; signing up for it will get you one weekly reminder to post.  Click here to sign up.

This week's Question of the Week:  Do you have any recipe you make for religious reasons--ie to celebrate a religious holiday or to teach kids something about the faith or to help you remember something about your faith or as a prayer?  My Answer:  Not on a regular basis.  I've tried a lot of the "regulars"--the crescent rolls with marshmallows inside (kids missed the point) and the meringue cookies left in the over overnight (they didn't like them) and one year I sent Epiphany cookies to school

So what about this week?  Well, I did 7 Quick Takes, I reviewed a Catholic novel, participated in the Book Blogger Hop, and reviewed a financial planning book,.  My giveaway of the Christmas children's book ends Sunday night so get your entries in!

  2. Hi RAnn...we have quite a few we do! My son is young and loves cooking, so he helps out (in his own little way) with them all. Here are our favorite ones: http://enterundermyroof.blogspot.com/search/label/recipes

  3. I added a post to my main Sunday Snippets post about November remembrances. If you've already visited my blog but are interested in that topic, please check it out again. Thanks.

  4. Thanks for hosting, RAnn! Only two posts this week: Weekly goals and an inspirational quote I found on Pinterest. And of course answered the question of the week.

P.S. I have an oral presentation for my drama class this week that is worth a huge portion of our grade. Please, please pray that it goes well. Thanks!

  8. Thanks for the invite to join this link-up! Right now, with the new baby, I probably won't be posting more than once a week for a while. I'll have to come back once I have enough posts to do a recap at the end of the week.
