Book Blogger Hop is hosted at Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer. This week's question:
- As you are reading a book, do you take notes for your reviews,
write your reviews as you read, or something totally different?
I don't take notes, though sometimes I'll bookmark special passages. Generally my review posts begin with the blurb from Amazon so I don't feel like I have to summarize the content. I try to tell my readers what I liked and what I didn't, and if I write the review right after I read the book, I don't think I should need notes for that. Sometimes I use something from a book for a lead in to a post that really doesn't talk about the book as much as it talks about my opinon about or experience with something. Since I'm not a professional reviewer, I figure I can write about books in any manner I desire.
Sounds similar to how I do it. :-)
