Merry Christmas to all my book blogging buddies. I've had extra time off and have put it to good use. I subscribed to Kindle Unlimited but cancelled before I had to start paying; I just found that most of the available books were self-published romances and I didn't think it was worth $11/month for unlimited access to them. Have you tried it? What do you think?
I have published a few reviews lately.
I have published a few reviews lately.
Books I read and for which reviews are scheduled:
I don't think Kindle Unlimited is for me, I think it would be fun then get repetitive.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the holiday season!
The same reasons have kept me from subscribing to KU. I hope you enjoy the netgalley books. I've got my list from there down to one book which will be my first book of 2016. When I finish it I'll go back and find some more :)
ReplyDeleteI haven't tried KU. Thanks for sharing your disappointment with it.

I haven't tried Kindle Unlimited either. I don't need more books to read with almost 2000 already on my stack. It looks like you read a nice assortment of books this week which all happen to be new to me. Here is what I read last week. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteNo as well to KU. Good to hear what someone thinks of it. I want to try a Susan Meissner and a Linda Goodnight book, both authors only recently have come into my awareness!
ReplyDeleteI loved The Things We Keep...and I am now eyeing The Rain Sparrow. Enjoy, and thanks for visiting my blog.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the kindle unlimited input...had feeling that might be the case.
ReplyDeleteI haven't tried Kindle Unlimited, but certainly wouldn't pay for romance novels. :)
ReplyDeleteGoing to take a look at your review of Stars Over Sunset Boulevard.
ENJOY the rest of your 2015 reading week, and Happy 2016!!

My It's Monday, What Are You Reading
Gorgeous cover on The Rain Sparrow, hope it's a great read. I loved The Things We Keep, very moving but light, funny moments too. Have a wonderful week!
ReplyDeleteThe Things We Keep has been on quite a few lists. I have not tried Kindle Unlimited. Happy New Year.
ReplyDeleteWith all the books I have here, Kindle Unlimited seems like a waste of money.
ReplyDeleteGreat reviews. Too bad Innocence Lost didn't live up to expectations. It sounds like a fascinating story.
Hendey's books look so cute. Hope you enjoy them.
Thanks for visiting The Busy Mom's Daily.
I don't use Unlimited as it never seemed worth it to me. I'd rather use the money for my audible subscription instead. Love Lucas looks cute, going to check it out.
