Hello, and welcome to Sunday Snippets--A Catholic Carnival. We are a group of Catholic bloggers who gather weekly to share our best posts with each other. To participate, go to your blog and create a post titled Sunday Snippets--A Catholic Carnival. In it, discuss and link to your posts for the week--whether they deal with theology, Catholic living or cute Catholic kids. I'm mostly a book blogger so my posts are generally book reviews, some Catholic, some not. Make sure that post links back here. Once you publish it, come back here and leave a link below.
I'm glad you are here and if you'd like a weekly reminder to post, join our yahoogroup.
We were on vacation this week, and I have pictures to share. I published only one review this week--Debbie Macomber's latest book.
Welcome back RAnn. Thanks for coming back and posting and hosting once again.
ReplyDeleteI lost a dear friend and wrote a poem in her memory.
I hope you had a wonderful vacation, RAnn.
ReplyDeleteTwo posts this week: A review of Lingo Bingo, a cute Catholic craft and a guest post on 4 reasons moms need weight training.
Thanks for hosting, RAnn! Hope you had a great cruise!
ReplyDeleteThis week's posts include a heads-up about two special Masses coming up on EWTN next week, a post about a book I've ordered, a post about my Chocolate Collection, a post about outside noises, a review (blog only) of "Collecting for Beginners," 3 homilies from EWTN, and, of course, my weekly book list.
I've got a mosaic from the DC Basilica, "Girl from Impanema", some great articles about "Clinging to Christ in Compound Grief" from a Colorado author, "How the Decline in Community is Affecting Your Parish", which actually ties in a bit with the first author's world view, an article about the U.S. having turned into a mission country, and a post about Sts. Joachim and Ann.
ReplyDeletePenn State and the possibilty of a do-over for our society, plus the ongoing pornification of sports via ESPN Magazine. All that and more in this week's posts.
ReplyDeleteThank you, RAnn, once again. My latest post includes a quote from Amelia Earhart and is entitled 'Kindness.'
