Hi folks and welcome to this week's version of Sunday Snippets--A Catholic Carnival. If you are with us for the first time, welcome. We are a successor to the Catholic Carnival run by Jay over at Living Catholicism. Rather than continuing the carnival, this format was chosen. Each participant is asked to create a post on his/her blog titled Sunday Snippets--A Catholic Carnival. In that post, highlight and link to one or more of your posts from this week and provide a link to this post. Then come here and use Mr. Linky to link us to that post. I've been asked by people who post infrequently if they can just use Mr. Linky to take us directly to their post. If you choose to do that, please put a link to this post in your post, and invite your readers to participate in Sunday Snippets. The idea of Sunday Snippets is for us to direct our readers to other Catholic blogs--and for them to direct their readers to us. If you are the type of blogger who cares about such things, I weekly take the Mr. Linky links and change them into permanent links that will register on Techorati. Thanks to all for participating. If you'd like a weekly reminder to participate, you may
subscribe to our yahoogroup. My highlighted post this week isn't terribly Catholic but I'd like to recommend a good book with a strong pro-life message. Here is my review of Judy Duarte's

ReplyDeleteHappy Mother's Day!
ReplyDeleteThis week's Sunday Snippet at WBN: "People Are Amazing" and "Preacher, Preacher".
Perhaps your readers will be interested in a breif retelling of a "remarkable 225-year-old story, unique in Church history:" How Confucian Scholars Brought Catholicism to Korea.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like one would have to practice a little to get it right; or who knows? Maybe it would work the first time. Sounds like a good way to share information and readers.
