Sunday Snippets--A Catholic Carnival

Hello, and welcome to Sunday Snippets--A Catholic Carnival. We are a group of Catholic bloggers who gather weekly to share our best posts with each other. To participate, go to your blog and create a post titled Sunday Snippets--A Catholic Carnival. In it, discuss and link to your posts for the week--whether they deal with theology, Catholic living or cute Catholic kids. I'm mostly a book blogger so my posts are generally book reviews, some Catholic, some not. Make sure that post links back here. Once you publish it, come back here and leave a link below.

We also have a yahoogroup; signing up for it will get you one weekly reminder to post.  Click here to sign up.

This week I reviewed an audiobook--My Big Old Texas Heartache, looking both at the audiobook format and at that particular book.  A Cold Creek Noel is a romance.  Breath of Dawn is Christian romantic suspense.  Bible Adventures and Activities is a Catholic children's book that would be a great Christmas gift for a second to fourth grader.

  3. Hi RAnn, thank you for hosting especially now that we are beginning the crazy time of year when time goes ballistic.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Let's make it a great season of prayer, especially for the suffering and our dear Home of the Brave.

  5. Thanks for hosting, RAnn! I pray that everyone has a great Thanksgiving.
This week's posts include a great homily from Fr. Joseph, some recently discovered family history,
an appropriate edition to my Vintage Media Collection, and, of course, my weekly book list.

  7. When porn comes to the high school library and when a brilliant student connects Roman history with a shameful event from America's past...all that and more in this week's posts.

Have a blessed Thanksgiving, and thanks to all the readers out there!

  8. I am sharing one post this week. My blog time today is being spent working on a basic testimony, so I hope I can be forgiven Just This Once :) for not preparing a separate post... but I did of course link up, and it is such a privilege to do so. Thank you, RAnn!

  9. Thank you for hosting! This week was a wedding week for our family, so two of my posts are wedding-related.
