Happy Independence Day. I'm enjoying an extra day off from work, which means more time to read. This week I actually paid for two of the three books the mailman brought.
Married by Morning (Hathaways, Book 4) was a fun read--a basic trashy romance, not, IMO one of Kleypas' better efforts, but if you are fond of the Hathaway clan, you'll enjoy seeing Leo and Catherine finally realize that the spark between them is what makes sparks fly whenever they are together.
Offerings: A Love Story is a Catholic love story. Like most self-published books it lacks a certain polish, but still, I enjoyed it and reviewed it.
Seeker, The: A Novel is about a pampered rich girl who takes refuge in a Shaker village when her wicked stepmother wants to sell her favorite slave. It is for a blog tour July 25 but I'll tell you now that I enjoyed it.
