Sunday Snippets--A Catholic Carnival

I'd like to welcome everyone to Sunday Snippets--A Catholic Carnival.  We are a group of Catholic bloggers who gather weekly to share our best posts with each other.  To particpate, go to your blog and create an entry titled Sunday Snippets--A Catholic Carnival.  In it, highlight one or more of your posts from the past week that you believe would be of interest to Catholic bloggers---whether they are posts reflecting on spiritual matters or posts about antics of Catholic kids, or anything in between.  Use that post to link to your original posts, as I linked to the Advent posts above.   Come back here and enter the URL of that post into Mr. Linky.  Finally, go visit other participants, and leave comments!  If you want a weekly reminder to post, join our yahoogroup.

I'm sitting here listening to the Saint's Game and so far I'm not impressed.  Not what I wanted to see today.  I started Weight Watchers this morning--pray for me, please, its a change I need to make.

I've read several books this week, but most are for tours scheduled in the future.  However, I did review The Archbishop Wore Combat Boots.

What about you?  What have you been writing about this week?

  1. Praying for you RAnn. The New Year is always good for new beginnings. I'm starting a diet as well. It's my third day. Prayers are welcome.

  6. Guess I'm surprised at how many Catholics don't know that Benedict XVI began (Bible) Study Groups many years ago, so I posted on our group...

  9. Hi RAnn, My sister lost 60 lbs. in a little over a year on Weight Watchers. I'll pray for your success.

This week I wrote a book review on Susan Boyle's autobiography, some interesting stuff on the Epiphany and on St. Simeon Stylites. Hope everyone enjoys my musings.

  10. Just two posts this week. Back to school...it was rough. One post on some of the graces from confession and the other on whatever - life.

Watched the ending of the Saints game here. The Superbowl was something special, but it just wasn't meant to be this year. Sad to see it end, but they weren't going to go so far this year.

Been wondering about the Archbishop's book. Thanks!
