Sunday Snippets--A Catholic Carnival

I'd like to welcome everyone to Sunday Snippets--A Catholic Carnival. We are a group of Catholic bloggers who gather weekly to share our best posts with each other. To particpate, go to your blog and create an entry titled Sunday Snippets--A Catholic Carnival. In it, highlight one or more of your posts from the past week that you believe would be of interest to Catholic bloggers---whether they are posts reflecting on spiritual matters or posts about antics of Catholic kids, or anything in between. Come back here and enter the URL of that post below. Finally, go visit other participants, and leave comments!

If you want a weekly reminder to post, join our yahoogroup. I'm glad to have everyone here, and just want to remind you that posts linked below should contain a link back here.

I reviewed a couple of Amazon freebies this week:  Once Was Lost and Healing Hearts.  I participated in two blog tours this week:  Forever Hilltop, which is about a minister in a small town in North Dakota and My Stubborn Heart which is a romance.    The Last Cowboy is another romance and Arranged  is about a woman who decided to use an arranged marriage (as opposed to dating) service.

What did you write about this week?

  3. Thank you RAnn, as always for hosting Sunday Snippets. I look forward to reading everyone's posts each week, even if I don't comment on them all. :)

This week's notable posts include a book review, a tribute to moms (Ode to Motherhood) and links to this weeks 31 Days with Mary devotion.

    God bless.

  6. Hi, RAnn! I've got a couple of week's worth of posts on the blog including art, music and poetry about The Good Shepherd, a Mother's Day poem, a book review, and 2 posts that point to other blogs--one in light of the same sex marriage debate, and the other about the treatment of atheists in com boxes.

  8. Happy Mothers' Day, RAnn! Posts this week include a response to VP Biden via de Tocqueville, a response to President Obama via common sense and all that is holy, and a logical look at the slipper slope of so-called gay marriage. All that and more in this week's posts! Thanks to all the readers out there!

  9. Thanks for the invite, RAnn. My featured posts this week are an analysis of Catholic activism in Ireland (though a lot of it can be applied to other countries),and a critique of Western sexual culture. I look forward to reading all your posts. :)
