Sunday Snippets--A Catholic Carnival

Hello, and welcome to Sunday Snippets--A Catholic Carnival. We are a group of Catholic bloggers who gather weekly to share our best posts with each other. To participate, go to your blog and create a post titled Sunday Snippets--A Catholic Carnival. In it, discuss and link to your posts for the week--whether they deal with theology, Catholic living or cute Catholic kids. I'm mostly a book blogger so my posts are generally book reviews, some Catholic, some not. Make sure that post links back here. Once you publish it, come back here and leave a link below.

We also have a yahoogroup; signing up for it will get you one weekly reminder to post.  Click here to sign up.

This week our question of the week is: Who is your favorite saint?
My answer:  The Blessed Mother.  I know it's not creative, but I guess I've never had a real attraction to any particular saint, and I do know Mary.

This week I reviewed a sweet romance, an autobiography of an abused wife , a collection of interviews of Pope Francis , and  a Christian romance.  I also participated in 7 Quick Takes.

  2. Thanks for hosting, RAnn.
There are so many saints I love that I can't narrow it down to just one.
As for what I wrote this week, I have the latest addition to my Rosary Art Collection, some sad news about Fr. Pablo Straub, the fan fiction I published this week, and, of course, my book list.

    Thank you for hosting, RAnn

My postings this week are about my Pilgrimage to Rome. Current in transient on my way back home. Expect to have the last posting on the Pilgrimage up sometime Sunday.

The Blessed Mother is one. However, St. Peter is also a favorite -- I identify greatly with him -- he is faithful to the Christ but always "messing up".

  5. I think I have more and more in common with St. Monica as the kids get older! Love St. Theresa of Avila and Zelie Martin too!

Thank heaven for Sunday Snippet because this forum will make it easy to reconnect again to old friends. So thank-you RANN.

Hey all! RAnn invited me to join in the Catholic Carnival! I'm so excited to check out all the great things you bloggers have posted about!

I am a Catholic Missionary working for FOCUS (the Fellowship of Catholic University Students). FOCUS sends missionaries (that's me) to college campuses throughout the U.S. to spread the Gospel and make disciples. I blog about all-things-missionary!
