Sunday Snippets--A Catholic Carnival

Hi, and welcome to another edition of Sunday Snippets--A Catholic Carnival. We are a group of bloggers who gather once each week to share out best posts. We are all Catholic and blog at least somewhat about Catholic things; some do so exclusively, others only periodically. All are welcome to participate here.

To join in the fun, go to your blog and create a post titled Sunday Snippets--A Catholic Carnival. In that post describe and link to any posts you want to share with the rest of us. Also put in a link to this post. Then come back here, and sign Mr. Linky and give us a link to your post. Finally, go visit other people's posts, and leave comments! Some folks who don't post often have asked if they could, rather than creating a special "Sunday Snippets" post, just link their original post to Mr. Linky. That's ok, if your original post includes a link back here; since the idea is to share our posts and readers with each other. Encourage your readers to join us too.

If you want a weekly reminder to post, please subscribe to our yahoogroup.

This week, I invite you to read my review of Be Holy: A Catholic's Guide to the Spiritual Life. I also invite you to check out my giveaways. The one for Can God Be Trusted gives extra entries for Sunday Snippets participants. If you entered last week, don't forget to leave another comment this week (or more).

What did you write about this week? Share a post with the rest of us!

  1. Thanks again for hosting! It is so nice of you to do the giveaways. The book you reviewed sounds interesting. God bless!

  2. Thanks RAnn! This time I used my other blog because it's the month of the Rosary. I am going to check out your review right now.

  3. Thanks RAnn, as usual. I just have my standard Gospel reflection this week.

  4. Thanks for your ever gracious invitation! Today's stories include Helen Keller and a *different* Noble Peace Prize nominee...

  5. This week on Sunday Snippets, WBN presents: Holy Mole

    * Holy Mole -- or the chocolate burrito
    * The Man Who Was Thursday -- Classic Chesterton
    * Vasovagal Attack -- Personal mortality

  6. I'm a little late on the uptake, considering it's Monday, but so be it. :) I had a lot to say this week, including reflections on Respect Life Month, a guest blog at, and a Motherhood Moment.
