Mailbox Monday

Mailbox Monday is hosted by Marcia at the Printed Page.

Another week when my income exceeded by outgo. With money, that's a good thing; with books....

For a Blogtours tour the week of April 27 I received A Gift Of Grace, the story of two normal American teens who, after their parents are killed in a car wreck, are sent to live with their mother's Amish sister. It was a predictable but enjoyable light read.

Hatchette Books sent me Jantsen's Gift, the story of a mother who lost her child work to save cildren in Southeast Asia. I'll be doing a giveway of this book, so check back.

The Moment Between is a First Wildcard book, it is a YA book.

I won a copy of Mrs. Meyer's Clean Home on Wendi's blog. I told my teens it was on their summer reading list.

The Lake that Stole Children is for ages 9-12 and is a fairy tale. I got it through Bostick and have reviewed it here.

City of the Dead is one of Terri Higley's Seven Wonders books. I got it via First Wildcard.

Mine Till Midnight by Lisa Kleypas came via Bookmooch and I've reviewed it here.

The Noticer came via Thomas Nelson's Blogger progam and will be toured April 27. It was an enjoyable read with lots of good advice.

  3. I thought WHY would I Mrs. Meyer's Clean Home be on your teens' reading list this summer. I found more info about the book and now I know why :) You are my kind of mom.

  4. You got quite a stack there. I am all too familiar with the income versus outgo and how books turn that upside down. Could be worse addictions though, right?! (Yeah, I'm not sure my family agrees, either.)

    My mailbox is here.

  7. Thank you for stopping by the mailbox this week. We share 'Jantsen's Gift'. I discovered Lisa Kleypas last year and love her historical, romantic fiction.
